Past Workshops and Conferences
In addition to funding training and research programs and other scholarly efforts, we periodically hold informal workshops with cross-cutting themes in order to share laboratory findings, clinical and fieldwork observations and perspectives, and fresh insights that may be of cross-disciplinary interest. Attendees at these gatherings include FPR board members and staff, UCLA faculty, and leading researchers and scholars in the neurosciences, psychology, psychiatry, anthropology, history, epidemiology, and public policy. Most of these workshops also involve planning for FPR’s series of international, transdisciplinary conferences, which focus on brain, mind, and culture interactions.
