Jerome Kagan, PhD
Jerome Kagan is emeritus professor of psychology at Harvard University. He has studied emotional development for over 50 years. Kagan's research on temperamental biases for certain emotions is summarized in two books: "Galen's Prophecy" published in 1994 and more recently "The long shadow of temperament" (with Nancy Snidman) published in 2004. He is finishing a book on human emotions to be published in 2007.
